The idea for this blog was to keep family and friends updated on our new life here at Salt Creek Farm. God always has even better plans. This blog has made me stop in my busyness and notice the things my boys are doing. Such as……
Finding garter snakes and playing with them
They practice archery
and then realize a great opportunity to “scare” mom.
They catch bullfrogs
And store them in buckets of water until mom comes to their rescue.
They offer treats to goats
Then offer something good for them. (Don’t worry, the wrapped Jolly Rancher never made it into Halle’s mouth.)
They pick beautiful bouquets for their mom
They enjoy riding on the back of a pig.
They think it is a good idea to try to rappel from the deck. Barefooted. Without a harness. Or gloves.
They herd farm geese who go wandering into gardens.
They make homemade Fourth of July t-shirts with the neighbor kids.
They love to re-arrange their room
And of course they are an endless source of entertainment and delight to their parents.

They are also a delight to all of us who enjoy watching your two very fun, unique, home-schooled, blessed of The Lord sons grow in a splendid environment. You have given them a great gift in your moving to the Banks of Salt Creek. Love you, my friend.
They comment often how much they love living here and even all the work that needs to be done. It is a good thing. Blessings to both of you. Love,Karen
