So what crazy times we are living in right now, HUH? I have been on work furlough and the boys have been doing distance-based learning for roughly 5 weeks now. The uncertainty is what makes things so unsettling right now, we have decided to make the best of it. Here are a few pics from the last week or so.
The cedar planting bed is a double Mothers Day gift. Not only has my wife been wanting me to replace the old, rotten cedar bed, but the planter has lots of succulents and Hens & Chicks. Karen loves Hens & Chicks, but so did my Mom, so this new planting bed is dedicated to the Mother of my boys, as well as my Mom. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms.
Not sure what the final outcome of all this Corona-virus disruption will be, but I do know we will survive. My hope is we can emerge more willing to appreciate the little things in life, more able to find the silver linings, and grateful for the good things we have. Life is hard, yet still full of many blessings.
From the farm,
Michael and Karen
Hi Michael and Karen,
So glad to see your alive and well!! It is so good to see your social distancing is like ours. I have my daughter and her family over every Sunday for church service online of course and have a brunch together. We each fix something to eat and share and we have been doing this since this virus started. It has been hard with my son, daughter-in-law and my son-in-law was out of work for a month, but Praise The Lord they are back to work!!
Our town of Gresham just started The Farmers Market today, so thats a Blessing!!
Praying for you all and with God’s help we will get through this and live more Godly lives with our family and friends!!
Happy Mother’s Day Karen!! Thank you Michael for sharing that dedication to your Mom!! Miss her too!! Love to you and your family, Joy
Hi Joy, glad you guys are doing well. So glad your son-in-law was able to get back to work. It’ll sure be nice when everyone can. So important to stay connected during all this. May God Bless you and yours through this!

God Bless you and your Family!!!
