Michael has been hard at work checking projects off of his list.
He is quite the renaissance man.
First it was plumbing…..
Now it is electrical.
One of the things we thought would be good to have is a light on the barn that is triggered by motion. If any critters (coyotes mainly) were to sneak up at night the light coming on would hopefully scare them away. In addition, it will be nice for us to have a light turn on when we have to go to the barn when it is dark.
So, Michael decided to learn about electricity. He did what he always does which is read a lot on the subject and then jumped right in (after turning off all the power to the barn of course).
He drilled the hole where the light would go.
Then ran the cord thingy through the hole. Hey, I have an degree in Business Administration aaannnnddd, I have a husband who does all the “technical stuff” so I really don’t need to know what that cord is called. I believe in letting the man be the man.
Then he did some more stuff…
And voila….we have light.
That’s my handyman.
Enjoy the day. It is horribly windy here.
Hugs,
Karen
Take good care of him; he’s worth his weight in gold!!
I agree. I do my best.
Take care,
Karen
Oh, yes, Karen does take care of her boys(all 3). Michael is a child at heart in his grown up body of a man of responsibilty and loving his family. Just like God takes care of those who are His chilren. He is our Provider, our Heavenly, Abba Father.
Karen, Either I did not know or have forgotten that you graduated in Business Administration. So did I!! But I did not marry a man of details and wanting to read, learn…so we butted heads…we were both administrators…somehow we made it and will be celebrating our 48th in Jan and have the most amazing family a person could ask for!!!! Praise God for His love and grace to those who put their hearts in His will and let go.
I love your blog!!
Michael, Karen, Joshua, Nicholas, I am so proud of you!!
