Hi there. I thought I might share a few pictures. Just fun stuff being out here in the country.
This is a fort the boys have been building. The positioning of the three trees made a great spot for the fort. It is at the edge of the upper pasture and overlooks the lower acreage. They will continue to work on it. They have some great ideas. I’ll keep you updated.
Here is another picture of our geese. We keep them purely for enjoyment. We find them to be very entertaining.
Here is the dad. He is the one looking right at me. He likes to eyeball me. I try not to make eye contact. It just seems safer that way.
Lastly, kitty has discovered the bean bag. It is now his. He comes inside in the morning and sleeps for hours. That is his go to spot now. Sorry Nicholas. Maybe we can get you another.
Hugs,
Karen
Just got back from a couple weeks on the road. It is so good to be home. I think you should take some images of you guys at rest. You are always so industrious. Just a thought, – I look my geese right in the eyes and am down with them at eye level. No fear. They are quite bonded to us, and very non-aggressive. Lots of love,
saundra
Awww…Kitty is adorable!! What a sweet face.
I totally get keeping an eye on the gander. We had a gander chase our car last spring when we were driving down a road in a wildlife management area. He was a wild Canadian Goose, and it was spring and he and the goose had fuzzies but still.
