The storms passed and the sun came out leaving us with a sunny, dry day. This was enough to convince the goats to venture outside, that plus the Christmas tree they hadn’t finished eating yet!
You might also notice the goats are getting a little wide, they should all be kidding in the next week or two. Brown Sugar, who needs a highway flagger or pilot car assigned to her, should kid tonight.
Baby goat pics soon!
From the farmstead,
Michael
Aww your goats are beautiful! Love the snow pics. We’re from Mississippi and don’t get a lot of snow. We did get ice though. Our Nubians hated it.
It is unusual to get snow on the valley floor in Oregon. My kids have had more snow in their short lives than I have in my 49 years. I keep telling them, “This isn’t normal.”Thanx for following along.
Have a great day,
Karen
Who would think goats eat Christmas trees.
So, next week we are on our way to DC for the inauguration, although I don’t know how ‘downtown’ we’ll get. We will be praying with some Christians, conservatives, Republicans and Trumpsters at a strategic location. Excited. Love to you allo.
I hope you enjoy it. Take pictures. I would love to take a field trip (in the summer) back east to visit all the historical sites, including DC.
Enjoy and stay safe and warm
Hugs,
Karen
