Michael and the boys have been riding their dirt bikes down in the lower acreage. They actually “cleared” a trail around the perimeter of the field to use with their bicycles as well as their dirt bikes.
The boys pitched in and we bought them each a helmet. Have to keep those heads safe.
Here are some pictures of my biker boys having fun.
Michael starting out.
Joshua in the lead.
Nicholas bringing up the rear.
It is a fun place for them to ride.
They are boys so there must be competition.
Joshua is still in the lead….
But not for long.
Nicholas has the slower bike (for now)
Second lap for Michael and Joshua. Michael so wants to pass him.
Hey, where did Joshua go?
If you know Michael, you know how much he wants to be in the lead.
Nicholas is heading back top.
Followed closely by Joshua and Michael.
Nicholas needs to grow a bit more and then hopefully they can do another Honda “TL125 bike project” and get him a bigger bike.
I like the “sports announcing” Not long ago I learned that dirt bikes are definitely NOT bicycles (I must be quite naive). So what Eisig and Eli and I were doing was riding bicycles on gravel and dirt (is there a different, more appropriate name?)…..fun, except for the very small, but steep “hill.” I balked at that one, just did not want to have to explain injuries to friends and family. They are all too old to understand that some of us never grow up. 🙂
I think you made a wise decision. Kids are just so much more flexible and “bouncy” than we are.
There are road bikes (bicycles) and there are mountain bikes (bicycles). Pretty sure you have mountain bikes and you were riding “off road”.
Are you enjoying the rain? It poured overnight here.
Hugs,
Karen
